Family was very important to my parents. They had 11 children which is not very common these days. Some days they were crazy, some days we were crazy, but as their children we always knew we were important to them. I mostly learned to cook by watching my mom. She was very meticulous in chopping vegetables and measuring things just right. She cared about what she fed her family and tried to make healthy delicious meals that made us feel good and create memories. I have many memories of sitting around the table with most of my siblings and my parents talking about our day and often listening to our dad tell us stories. Sitting and eating a meal together was important to us and life did get very busy but those times helped us slow down and reconnect. This family dinner time has become more elusive. Taking the time to sit and eat together is hard enough to do but taking the time to plan and cook the meal and then clean up makes dinner time a real challenge. Here at Prosper Pantry want to make family dinner time easier by providing home cooked, ready made meals that can be ready anytime you need and easy to clean up.
